Spiritual
Mechanics [n.] The “how” behind
how spirit functions. What makes thought, vibration,
communication, music, intention, etc. do what they
do to the body, mind and soul. Spiritual mechanics
is the practice of demonstrating and explaining
these phenomena
in
such a way that people are empowered to use
them and, in so doing, can begin to blossom. Often,
the process begins with just sitting still. Uncovering
[dis-covering!] the treasures we already possess
and the knowingness we already have about how to
use them can be that easy!
Energy,
which might be defined as thought,
atmosphere and vibration,
is highly intelligent, in spite
of the fact
that many people through the ages have tried their
darndest to prove otherwise. John Heney takes pleasure
in showing people how inspiring, how wise and how
uncomplicated energy can be.
He
loves to report on, share about,
demonstrate, write, and coach in the field
of what he calls spiritual mechanics – whatever
it takes for fun, ease and joy to help people
to lower effort, raise effectiveness and consciousness
to blossom into all they can really be.He
believes our civilization can move from a stress-filled
reactive society to become far more appreciative,
inclusive and wise. Part of this development,
he says, is daring to live in such a way that puts
the “common” back into common sense.
How
do you capture, label or box what John does? You don't!
He actually wanders among the boxes.
He calls his work spiritual mechanics because
he’s known to slow things down and describe to
individuals and groups just how thought
functions, and how it’s been doing so, since time immemorial.
He reminds people that, in many cases, we have been sitting
on our own answers for so long that we’ve completely
forgotten to look under our cushions!
Some
have even called John’s approach 'funanease' because
he so often refers to the power of fun, ease and joy that
can be found in so many aspects of life.
He invites you to enter his work and play, and to share in
his adventures and his connections, the value he places on
people’s
life stories, and the simplicity he knows we can use to bring
a more wonderful experience to our own journeys.
John
is a philosopher. He’s a writer,
coach and humourist. He speaks, holds group sessions, and helps
professionals hone their craft. He helps to provide people
with the external permission they sometimes seek and need in
order to honour themselves. And he listens.
Along
the way John
gives
a spiritual “high-five” greeting to children and
adults, tribes and sages, shopkeepers and clergy who know that
they know they are making a difference and who know that vibration
is energy, and energy is the element that is the most effective
teacher.
